Dallas Cowboys football cards from the 1980s

The 1980s where lean years for the Dallas Cowboys. They started out the decade with 3 straight losses in the NFC championship game and ended up the decade with a 1-15 record, worst in the NFL. Topps was once again the only major card company throughout the 1980s right up until 1989 when Pro Set and Score jumped into the game. Despite the lack of a decent record during the decade, there are many Cowboy cards to collect during the decade. Hall of Fame players like Tony Dorsett and Randy White appear in almost every set plus Hall of Fame players Michael Irvin and Troy Aikman have Rookie cards in the 1989 sets.
