Here is an awesome Cowboys item. I have one already in my game room. This is only the 3rd one including mine I have seen on Ebay.
I hope someone here might want it.

Cute.  I don't know anything the phone but I can say that "Automatic Electric" was the company that manufactured telephone equipment for the old GTE (which was eventually bought by Bell Atlantic to form Verizon then sold off in some parts of the country to Frontier).

I've never seen this particular phone -- but I had a "Dallas Cowboys" touchtone phone.  It was just a standard white plastic phone by Western Electric that came with a cardboard cover in Dallas Cowboy colors.  The exact same phone could be bought with different covers for the Texas Longhorns, Houston Oilers etc.

I note on the payphone that the dial faceplate is broken.  Also, while the phone may be in working condition, I don't think it will work using a standard residential or business phone line.  Payphone lines were different because they had to record the drop of the coins for example among other things.

I have one and it is in working condition , not sure if anyone modified it but I have mine hooked to a  regular land line and it works fine.
These were phones they had around Texas Stadium in the 70's.
