2010 Classic Cowboys 50th Anniversary Cards
« on: July 31, 2012, 05:07:50 pm »
I have been working on this set for 2 years now. I am trying to get every card in all the sub sets. There are 143 cards total. I have around 120 of them, Including two 1/1's out of the 3 in the set.
these were redemption cards, you had to scratch off and redeem online to Panini and they send the card to you. I received one of the cards in the mail today That I paid $21.50 for the redemption card of Mat mcBriar. It is an Autographed card ,Well suppose to be any way. So yes you guessed it, It has no Autograph on it , Yes and where is should be autographed it really says "NO AUTOGRAPH" along with a letter saying,
Due to circumstances beyond our control we are unable to provide you with the 2010 Mat McBriar autograph
In exchange we have included an autograph card of equal or grater value.
I received a 2008 Donruss Playoff Herschel Walker Silver signature.
Should I be upset about this or happy?

Well you paid 21 bucks for a card you wanted in your set and then you got the Walker card as a bonus. And since McBriar is now a dirty bird, no big lose.  :D

I would be happy with the trade off. You know there will be NO McBriar autos to complete the set so yours will be complete as is.

He's a punter! How hard would it be to get him to sign some cards?? How often are punters even asked to sign? You think they could have gotten him to sign them.

Well Got another in mail today that was not signed. NO AUTOGRAPH on Larry Allen card sent in its place 2005 Score autographed Jared Allen and a 2010 Donruss Elite down and distance Patrick Crayton jersey card.
In my eyes this does not make up for a signed larry Allen card. I cant find in my records what I paid for Larry Allen card, but my guesses would be $20-30 range.

I have several more redemptions awaiting processing so I am getting worried.7 In my opinion this is Bullshit....

Does anyone have any of these cards they are willing to sell or trade from this set. Im down to only needing about 20 cards.
