Danny Noonan, DT from the University of Nebraska, was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 1st round of the 1987 NFL Draft. Danny played for the Cowboys for 5 plus seasons. He had a superb sophomore season, recording 7.5 sacks and intercepting a pass and returning it 17 yards for a touchdown. Danny was a solid member of the Cowboys defensive front four heading into the decade of the 1990s. By 1992, the Cowboys had so much depth at defensive tackle, Danny became expendable so the Cowboys cut him early in the 1992 season. Danny signed with the Packers and finished out the 1992 season in Green Bay. Danny played in the NFL for 7 seasons and recorded 15 QB sacks.
