Tony Banks Dallas Cowboy football cards
Tony Banks played minor league baseball after high school before enrolling in Mesa Community College in San Diego in 1992. He transferred to Michigan State after 2 seasons and Played QB for the Spartans in 1994-1995. Tony was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1996 NFL draft and started for the Rams for the next 3 seasons. Tony was a pretty good QB for 3 seasons in St. Louis but was traded to the Baltimore Ravens in 1999. He played 2 seasons in Baltimore and then 1 season in Washington. He was signed to play with the Dallas Cowboys during the 2002 off season but the Cowboys cut Tony before the season started and he was picked up by the expansion Houston Texans. Tony spent the last 3 seasons backing up QB David Carr in Houston. In 8 NFL seasons, Tony has over 15,000 yards passing with 76 TD passes.
