Troy Hambrick Dallas Cowboy football cards
Troy Hambrick, RB from the University of Savannah, was an undrafted Free Agent signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2000. Troy was a very capable backup to Emmitt Smith for 2 seasons and showed flashes of stardom. When Emmitt Smith was released at the end of the 2002 season, Troy became the starting RB for the Cowboys. Although he set career highs with 972 yards rushing on 275 attempts, his 3.5 yard average was disappointing enough for the Cowboys to release Troy after only 1 season at starting RB. Troy was signed by the Arizona Cardinals in 2004 and once again, he was the backup RB to Emmitt Smith. Troy did not play in 2005. In 5 NFL seasons, Troy has rushed for 2,179 yards on 536 carries and 9 touchdowns.
